Sarah Zarcone has more than 10 years of experience in fundraising, communications and marketing at nonprofit, for-profit, Catholic and secular organizations. As a convert to Catholicism in young adulthood, Sarah experienced a profound shift in both her worldview and approach to interpersonal relationships when she discovered theology of the body, of which she is an enthusiastic proponent. She and her husband, Nick, live near Cleveland, Ohio with their four children.
Abigail Klare
Abigail Klare is in her final year at the University of Cincinnati, studying economics and political science. She is an active member of the Catholic Bearcat group at St. Monica-St. George Parish Newman Center and will be working as a campus missionary with FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) upon graduation.
Deacon Mike Huffman
Mike Huffman was born in Lima, Ohio, but his professional career brought him to Cincinnati. He worked for the Kroger Company for over 35 years, including experiences in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Merchandising and Manufacturing. He retired from Kroger in 2016 and is currently the business manager for the Uptown Catholic Region of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in the Clifton Heights area of Cincinnati. He was ordained as a Deacon in April 2019 and is currently assigned at St. Margaret of York in Loveland, Ohio. He and his wife, Mary Ann, have three children and seven grandchildren.
Steve Deiters
Steve Deiters spent over 30 years in advertising in Cincinnati. For the last 22 of those years he was a founding partner of the Creative Department which grew to become the first purely creative shop in Cincinnati. Since retiring from the ad business, he has been applying his skills to helping grow non-profits, like Nehemiah Manufacturing, Ruah Woods, and now as a Board member of Embodied Magazine. Steve is happily married over 37 years with three married children and three grandchildren to keep him smiling.
Leslie Kuhlman
Leslie Kuhlman joined the Embodied Magazine Board right from the beginning as she recognized the vital need for a place to share the fruits of a TOB-touched life as well as a hub for the national TOB ministries. She was bitten by the “TOB bug” after attending Christopher West’s very first week-long “Head and Heart Immersion Course” in 2004 and later helped to start Ruah Woods where she remained as the founding Executive Director from 2008-2020. Leslie has a M.A. in Labor and Employment Relations from the University of Cincinnati and has enjoyed a long career serving in leadership positions in corporate, higher education and non-profit sectors. She resides in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio is married to her husband Mark, has two grown daughters and one grandchild.
